Gena was born of a 16 year-old Mom, and grew into a beautiful, humorous, witty young woman. She not only was beautiful on the outside, but was beautiful on the inside. She was her Mom's best friend and visa-versa. She also valued her Grandparents and family ties, friendships, and her pets most in life. She always referred to her Mom as her 'Mom & Dad' and gave greeting cards to her Mom on both Mother's Day & Father's Day. She loved holidays and the gatherings with her family and especially traveling to her Grandparents farm in Gooding, ID. anytime but especially on holidays. She was especially close to her Grandma & Grandpa Ella & Lloyd Stewart. She enjoyed her half-sister Tara Sliman and her sisters oldest daughter Alexis Naclerio. She also got to meet a half-sister Tiara Kramer. She very much valued her lifetime friends. She finally got to enjoy meeting her bio brother in 1998 ~ Marc Mader. Gena was enamored with a farm boy named Jon Drake from Emmett, Idaho. They never got together closely as a couple but as Gena was dying he came to see her in the hospital and he clarified his feelings for her, but explained that he too had a terminal illness, and that was the reason they could never be together in this life! She greatly loved animals. She loved all her horses, but especially her 'Punky-Roo'. Driving home from work she would head towards the pasture where her horses were. When she got within 400'-500' of the pasture, she would start honking her vehicle horn, and Punky would come galloping towards the pasture corner off the main road. It was something to watch Gena in her little red 2-Door Honda and see this Arabian horse galloping along side of Gena's car - side by side with just a wire fence between them. The other horses would just watch. Punky sadly broke her leg one day by just running, exercising with the other horses, hit a gopher hole and it broke one of her front legs. The vet had to put Punky down, which crushed Gena. The vet saved the end clipping of Punky's tail. When Gena died, a friend braided the tail, added flowers and beads top/bottom and to the braid and Punky's tail was placed in the coffin next to Gena. She loved cooking/baking, good movies and music, camping, hiking and trailering horses into the mountains. She enjoyed sharing with others anything she could help out with. She disliked dishonesty and hypocrites. She sadly died from a tumorous cancer of unknown origin at the age of 36. She will be missed forever by those who knew and loved her. Her Mom valued every second she got to spend with Gena through those 36 precious years. 💗 (bio by: MjM)

Thinking of you. This flower reminds me of a little moustached man. It made me smile.
