The late Mrs. Briegel was born in Mount Vernon, Wis., July 18, 1871. When a small child, her parents came to Minnesota and located seven miles from Buffalo Lake. In September, 1888, she was united in marriage to Christian Briegel of this city, and they came here to reside. They removed to Minneapolis in 1904, where she had resided since. She had been employed by Maurice L. Rothschild Co., for 25 years. Sur-viving her are four daughters, namely: Mrs. Adolph F. Boelke of Henderson, Mrs. Allan C. Reichow of St. Paul, Mrs. Lambert L. Beery of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Cora A. Koehler of Minneapolis; also three sisters, Mrs. Tina Almich and Miss Lena Lindorff of Minneapolis and Mrs. Elizabeth Rodeck of Granite Falls, and six grand-children.
Rev. Moyer officiated at the funeral service. The choir sang two selections and Miss Helen Anderson sang a solo during the services. A profusion of flowers were sent by relatives and friends. The pallbearers were: John Hepp of this city, Frank Straub, Louis Almich, Howard Jentz, Carl Stromberg and George Green.
Out of town people in attendance at the last rites were: Mr. and Mrs. John Hepp, Henderson, Mrs. Elizabeth Rodeck, Granite Falls, Mrs. Ibe Jentz of Boyceville, wis., and Mrs. Carrie Jentz and Mrs. R. Sausen.
