WORLD WAR I VETERAN WIDOW
Hazel Teresa Bottle was born in December 1884 [1885?] in Washington to English born parents Charles and Mary Bottle. She married John Douglas Lewis on January 27, 1903 in Seattle. They had two sons, Dallas C. and Francis A. Lewis, and resided in Tacoma, Washington. Mr. Lewis died in 1943 and she remarried on June 1, 1950 to Frank Almaden.
Mr. and Mrs. Almaden resided at the Washington Veterans' Home. She died in 1970 and is buried in the home cemetery.
