Mary Duncan Belflower will reside in the hearts of her students as long as they draw breath. She was a teacher, par excellance. She was a mentor without trying.

Mary Belflower was Runner Up Miss Georgia, 1949.

She contracted cancer and was taken from us far too early. She is desperately missed by friends and family.

I will always regret not renewing our acquaintance when I saw her across the school auditorium near the end of her life.
