Margie L. Davis, 67, 3910 Cedar Park Place, died Tuesday at Central Kansas Medical Center. Born Margie Piland Jan. 17 1914, in Tulsa, Okla., she had been a resident here for 40 years coming from Wasolo, Mo. She was a retired employee of the Great Bend Manor. She was a member of the Community Christian Church and the Commission on the Aging. Survivors are four sons, Kenneth Piland of Woodward, Okla, Troy Pliland of Leavenworth, Basil Piland of Great Bend and Gary Piland of Great Bend; two daughters, Mrs Charles (Wanda) Conaway of Okmulgee, Okla, and Mrs Roy (Claudia) Biles of Great Bend; one stepdaughter, Mrs Lewis (Judy) Landsdown of Sparta, Mo, one brother Carl Piland of Great Bend; 22 grandchildren' and 17 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2pm Thursday at the church with the Rev. David Bradshaw and the Rev. Richard Ogle officiating. Burial will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the church. Friends may call afternoon today, until noon Thursday at the Fryberger Mortuary and from 1 to 2 pm at the church.
