Services for Mrs. Irene Allen, who died at her home, 334 Chestnut St., Saturday will be held in the Conger-Morris Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. George Roseberry, First Methodist Church officating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

Mrs Allen was born in Brosley, Missouri on Dec. 25, 1899. Jan. 15, 1916 at Brosley, Mo., she was married to Elmer Allen, who survives her.

Also surviving her are ten children: Mrs. Clara Kidd, Madras; Willis E. Allen, Dillard; Lossie Allen, Redwood City, Calif., Earl Allen, San Francisco, Calif., Melvin Allen, Roseburg; Arthur Allen, Medford; Mrs. Robert Cummings, Central Point; Mrs. Ronnie Rice, Astoria; Mrs. Gary Stevens, Medford; Clarence at home; 17 grandchildren, a brother Zell Guess, Brosley, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Elva Newsom, Fisk, Mo., and Miss Vermillie Guess, Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Three children preceded her in death, Alfred, Gertrude and Flossie.

Pallbearers will be Henry Young, Frank Root, Thomas Young, Bryan Ward Pete Millsaps and August Colton.
