ACME YOUTH DIES AFTER CAR TOPPLES FROM HIGH BRIDGE. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon for Forrest Davis, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Davis of Acme, who died Thursday night of injuries sustained in an automobile accident May 13.
Young Davis and Arthur Brown, 17, were both critically injured when their car toppled off a private railway bridge near Acme.
Davis death was attributed to meningitis which developed several days ago.
Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Davis of Acme, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Timmons of Chillicothe.
The Brown youth is reported recovering and was taken home to Childress Sunday.
