He was repatriated to US under a program to recruit US citizens in Canadian military service back to the USA. His WWI US Draft Registration Card appears to be dated Jan 17, 1917 (his age is given as 28), and he is again living in Wisconsin. He subsequently served in the US Navy during WWI.
* Logan had "HINES cousins" living in Northern Ontario from Muskoka to New Liskeard / Cobalt / Cochrane areas. These were lumber and mining locations of that time.
On June 18, 1920, Logan and Irene Beverly "Mattie" HINES (from an unrelated HINES ancestry) were married in Philadelphia, PA. They moved to Wisconsin after they were married. There, they had three children, born in different cities:

Virginia Fay "Ginny" HINES 1926 – 2006
In the 1 Apr 1930 census, the family was living in Reed City Village, Osceola Co, Michigan where he was employed as a "Superintendent" in the "Pole Business".
