Helen Mae HINES was the daughter of Henry Harrison HINES (1892 1966) and Helen Elizabeth TRUAX (1915 2001) who were married 22 May 1933. She was the middle child of five born to her parents; two older brothers, Henry William HINES Jr (1934 2002) and William aka Bill HINES Sr (b1935) and two younger siblings, Mary Ann HINES (b1937) and Sylvester Dee HINES (b1939).

Her father had previously been married to Neva May PICKARD (1896 1921). Neva died at age 25 leaving Henry to raise their two sons, Robert R HINES (1915 1971) and Joseph Earl HINES (1917 2000). See Neva's online Find A Grave Memorial burial memorial # 115223512.

HELEN MAE BALDWIN
Mrs. Helen Mae Baldwin, 43, of Phoenix, died Thursday, May 1, 1980 at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital*, following a short illness. She was born in Volney and was a former resident of Fulton, Syracuse and Florida. She moved to Phoenix four years ago. Mrs. Baldwin had worked as a practical nurse in hospitals and nursing homes. She was a member of the VFW Post 5540 Auxiliary in Phoenix. Surviving are her husband, David H.; one daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Patrick of Fulton; one son, James Hanlon of Fulton; her mother, Mrs. Helen E. Hines of Fulton; one sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Myers of Fulton; four brothers, William Hines of Phoenix, Henry, Sylvester and Joseph Hines*, all of Fulton;, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Funeral Home, Main St., Phoenix and in St. Stephen's Church. Burial was in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
