EDNA JOSEPHINE ANDERSON -- Services for Edna Josephine Anderson, 73, of Palos Verdes, Calif., and formerly of Des Moines, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson died of pneumonia Monday at a Torrance, Calif., hospital. Born in Vincennes, Ind., she lived in Des Moines most of her life before moving to California several months ago. Survivors include two sons, James Higdon of Phoenix, Ariz., and John Higdon of Los Angeles, Calif., 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home.
