Mrs. Ellen Bolents Dies at Morrisdale -- well-known resident of Oak Grove succumbs at home of Daughter -- Mrs Ellen Bolents, wife of the late Peters Bolents, long residents of Oak Grove, succumbed at the home of her daughter
Mrs Ignatz Stetson early yesterday morning following an illness of six years from complications.
Mrs. Bolents was born in Austria seventy years ago. She came to this country in her youth and has since been a resident of the Oak Grove region.
Her husband prededed her in death one year ago.
She is survived by four sons, Pete and Joe of LeContes Mills; Andrew of Oak Grove; and five daughters, Mrs. Joe Kubulek, of Reveloc; Mrs. Martin Vail, and Mrs. Jake Koza, of Cresson; Mrs. Mike Petcharko, of Oak Grove; and Mrs. Ignatz Stetson, of Morrisdale.
Funeral services will be held from St. Agnes church, Morrisdale at ten o'clock tomorrow morning with interment in the adjoining cemetery. [copied June 11, 1990 at Philipsburg Historical Foundation from Microfilm]
She was born in Lomniča, Zemplin, Slovakia, the daughter of George and Mary Yetsko. She was the sister of Anne Yetsko Kondisko, the wife of Joseph George Kondisko, both of them are also buried in St. Agnes Cemetery, Morrisdale.
