Mrs. Ida Pearl Fogle, a sixteen year-old mother, and wife of Edward Fogle a smelter worker, of Taylor Springs, died at her home Tuesday, January 8Th, at 3:30 o'clock. Mrs. Fogle gave birth to son on January 6Th, and soon after convulsions set in, which continued until he death.
Ida Pearl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark of Taylor spring, was born in the Montgomery neighborhood April 1,1901, and at her death she was 16 years, 9 months and 8 days of age. she was united in marriage to Edward Fogle, Jan.1,1917, and she is survived besides her husband and infant son, by her parents and three brothers, William, Jesse and Harold Clark.
The funeral services were held at 11 a.m Thursday, January 10Th from Montgomery church. Interment was made in Montgomery cemetery.
The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved husband and the motherless son, and to the sorrowing parents and brothers, and this sympathy is intensified because of the youth and the nature of the death of this young girl who gave up her life that her son might live.
