Merton Albert Broach, 14 years old son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Broach, died at a local hospital Monday after a ten days illness. He was a member of the Junior High School and his class was dismissed Monday morning when news was received of his death.
Funeral services were conducted from Bernstein Bro.s Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock with Rev. S. E. Wasson officiating, assisted by Rev. George Stone.
The following were pall bearers: Asa Thornton, George Thornton, Robert Bradberry, Arthur Kittle, Campbell Elliott, H. G. Callahan. Bernstein Bro.s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Broach, two brothers, Edgar and Willie and by Mr. Mercer Broach and Mrs. B. C. Jones.
