E.P. DRAKE, 64, EXPIRES EARLY THIS MORNING - Death Follows Two Years' Illness
Ellsworth P. Drake, 64, 525 Catlin street, died this morning at 3:30 o'clock at Rockford hospital, following a stroke suffer Thursday. He had been in ill health for several years.
Mr. Drake was born at Canisteo, N.Y., March 26, 1864. He was married at Ord, Neb., December 27, 1885 coming to Rockford from Nebraska in 1896 to make his home, and living here continuously.
Besides the widow, Mr. Drake is survived by five children. They are Mrs. Ella Petro, 525 Catlin street and Miss Sadie Drake, living at home; Lee Drake, 219 Soper avenue; William Drake, Milwaukee, an Ray Drake at Grand Junction, Colo. He also leaves three grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister also survive: one brother at Canisteo and two brothers and the sister at Ord, Neb.
Funeral arrangements were not completed today.
