Harriet E. Clark, daughter of Ivan and Eva (Rockwood) Clark, was born August 28, 1918 in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up and graduated from high school there.
Harriet was united in marriage with Buil Branson in Sioux Falls on November 8, 1935. In 1938, the couple moved to a farm 10 miles south of Madison, SD where Harriet kept their home while Buil farmed. They farmed there until 1968 when they moved back to Sioux Falls.
In her free time Harriet enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing the piano and sewing various items. She also loved to have friends from the neighborhood over for coffee and visiting. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Buil; three children, Charlie Branson and his wife, Dorothy, Lorraine Darger and her husband, Clair and Danny Branson, all of Sioux Falls; 13 grandchildren; 23 ½ great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, one son, one granddaughter and one brother.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family for lunch and fellowship at East Side Baptist Church following the committal service.
