Winchester Agate, aged 88 years, died yesterday
at the City Hospital, as the result of
an operation performed Friday. Sixteen
years ago he moved from Victor to Rochester,
where he had since resided. He was a
brother of Reuben Agate and Miss Ann Eliza
Agate of Pittsford. Seven children also
survive, Miss Agnes Agate, Rochester; Frank
Agate, Pittsford; Rev. Herbert Agate, pastor
of the Owen Place Baptist Church, Toledo,
OH; Miss Christiana Agate, Pittsford; Mrs.
Baird, Rochester; Charles Agate, Pittsford,
and Miss Harriet Agate, Rochester.
