Andretile 'James' Simien was united in marriage to Antoine Simien. To this union ten children were born: seven sons, Felix, Walter, Curley, Harry, August, Herman and Luther, and three daughters Helen, Alverda, and Julia Mae. Andretile was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was also a member of the St Rita Court No. 31, Knights of Peter Claver and a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Altar Society. She died peacefully, at her daughter Julia Mae 'Simien' Lewis' residence, at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday 9 March 1966, in Lake Charles Louisiana.
