Alyce was born in Hartford, Connecticut. She married Jack (Ernest) Reynolds In Armenia, N.Y. on March 6, 1938, and moved to Pelham in 1975. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Reynolds, a Pelham entrepeneur who once had his product on commercials during "The Tonight Show" for Solar Kool, a glass-tinting product he developed with his son, John.
Alyce's husband was fond of calling her "my little ladybug" and over the years she had collected many items with representations of ladybugs.
She had three sons; John Reynolds and Gary Reynolds of Ocala, FL, David Reynolds of Pelham. She also left a sister, Dorothy Fay Monroe-Bruno of Tucson, AZ.
Alyce was a resident of Pelham for 25 years, died at St. Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville and was a parishioner at St. Catharine's Church. She was 86.
