Mrs. Mable McKenzie Adams, age 87, died Saturday, September 28 at Houston Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, September 30 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Okolona, with the Rev. Paul Honomichl officiating.

The daughter of the late Duncan Lawrence McKenzie and the late Mary Elizabeth Smith, she was a retired librarian and a member of Houston Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one brother, Bert McKenzie of Starkville and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Landrum, Joe Wright, Bob Scott, Ray Harrington, Larry Bonds and Ralph Sennes, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were men of the Presbyterian Church, Dr. John D Dyer, Armis Hawkins, Evans Dendy, J H Tabb and J A Murphree.

Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
