At a young age Ralph became interested in farming and raising animals. He got a chance to buy a parcel of land, offered the owner a price and they accepted. He raised wheat and cattle. Although Ralph never married and had a
family of his own, he was like family to many. He was a friend to those who knew him and generous to his extended family. Ralph loved to fish, go boating, fly his own
small airplane and was quite talented in building steam and gasoline engines from scratch.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother and his sister Elsie Caroline Narewski on October 19, 1991.
He is survived by numerous cousins, including L.D. Baird, Junior Baird, Geraldine Baird and Betty Allison all
of Woodward, other relatives and many friends.
