March 6, 1931 - May 22, 2013 Patricia Louise Brandon "MomPom" Abram of Claremont, California died on May 22, 2013; she was 82. Pat was born in Tampico, Illinois, March 6, 1931 to Genevieve (Ribordy) and Forrest P. Brandon.
She graduated from Catholic Community High School, Sterling, IL and attended Mount St. Clare College and Academy in Clinton, Iowa. She married in 1954 in Whittier, CA; they divorced in 1979. She returned to school at Pasadena City College from 1976 until 1979 where she earned her degree in nursing. She was employed at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia as a registered nurse from 1979-1990. An avid fan of thoroughbred horseracing, she was part owner of several racehorses, most recently, Rio Good and Pay the Debt.
Services will be held 11:00 AM on June 3, 2013 at Rose Hills-Alhambra (550 E. Main St.), private interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
