Went by the name Sidney; lived in Huntsville, AL, then El Segundo CA, then ended up in Lompoc, CA.
He joined the Air Force for 9 years, served in Japan for 3 years during the Korean War, used the GI bill to earn Aeronautical Engineering degree at Purdue Universary in 1958.
Sidney worked on the missile propulsion program at Huntsville, AL, and on missile launch develpment at El Segundo, then at Lompoc at the Vandenburg Air Force Base.
His wife was Sue Ann Clausson, son Benjamin also buried here.
This family took the Barnacastle version of the name, the original surname is Barneycastle. Other families took different spellings so it's difficult know how to reference the original.
