Mr. Glunt, 68, of Roaring Spring, died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 1982, at his home. Mr. Glunt retired as a self-employed barber after 50 years in Roaring Spring. He was born Feb, 17, 1914, in Newry, the son of Homer and Ada (Clark) Glunt, and Oct. 4, 1937, in Cumberland, Md., married Gladys McNally. Surviving are his wife, five children: Terry L., Ronald J., Mrs. Jill Colbert and Mrs. Joy Smith of Roaring Spring and Richard L. of East Freedom; 11 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Also surviving are six sisters and a brother: Mrs. Mary King in New Mexico, Mrs. Dorothy Weaver, Mrs. Martha J. Lindsey of Duncansville RD, Mrs. Grace Culler of Chambersburg, Mrs. Helen Richards of Duncansville, Mrs. Patricia Wertz of Ebensburg and Homer of Hollidaysburg. Mr. Glunt was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Roaring Spring, where he served on the church board and taught Sunday School for many years. He served as committeeman for Boy Scout Troop 67 and on the Roaring Spring Zoning Board. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring.
