Beloved wife of Louis Elmer Sowers, and mother of Louis Elwood and William Paul. Like her father before her, Carrie left this earth, leaving young children. She was only 36 years of age. She got caught in a storm running to catch a bus. She developed a severe cold soon after, and it took her life so suddenly.
Her mother, Alma (Goosey) Anderson and Step-father Noah Anderson raised her two sons in Kentucky, giving them so much love. The depression had forced many people to leave their homes and go to work in factories in the northern state of Ohio. Her husband Louis worked at Fridgidaire and continued working there after her passing. He never remarried and kept her picture with him until his death, 41 years later in 1977.
