Judy Algustowski, 48, a lifelong Utica resident, died on Friday, March 15, 2013, unexpectedly, at home. She was born in Utica on June 4, 1964, the daughter of Edward and Doris Sunderlin Algustowski, and graduated from Notre Dame High School. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church. She is survived by her four brothers and three sisters, Edward Algustowski, John and Kathy Algustowski, Peter Algustowski and Stephen Richards, all of Utica, Elizabeth Griffith, of NJ, Tina Algustowski, of FL, and Bonnie Algustowski Schmidt and Bryce Schmidt, of FL, and her fiance, Daniel Hoehn, Sr., of Utica. Also included are her Godson, John Schmidt, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Timothy, Sr. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 1156 Lincoln Avenue, Utica, and at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday (today) from 4 until 6 p.m. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be left at the funeral home.
