Mrs. Barbara E Ammerman, 86, of Nittany Valley, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sarah Weber of Nittany, Centre County, on Monday, Jan.16, 1950, at 9 a.m. She had been ill a year.
She was born in Huntingdon County July 31, 1863, a daughter of John and Sophia T. Hazzard. Her husband Wilson Ammerman died 24 years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs.Weber.
She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethen Church of Nittany.
Funeral service will be held at the Weber home Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. L.P. Markley of the Howard officiating. Burial will be made in the Hublersburg cemetery. Friends may call at the Weber home.
