Bernard graduated from Holy Family School, he attended Business school for one year. He was also a member of St. Patricks Catholic Chruch. He was survived by one sister Mary Diederich, and three half brothers, Fenton Johnston of Elwood, Inidana, Charles Brannen of Tulsa and James Brannen of San Antonio, Texas.
Bernard is buried next to his mother and father.
