Mrs. Eula B. Cooper was born to the late Reverend Smith Cooper and Mrs. Mattie Oliphant Delaney on May 4, 1932, in Holmes County, Lexington, Mississippi. She departed this life Wednesday, May 19, 1993, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
She united with the Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later moved her membership to Asia Missionary Baptist Church. Although she was very ill, Eula still found ways to share her lofe for the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her three sons, John D. Cooper, Major U. S. Air Force, San Antonio, TX, Robert Earl Cooper, Lexington, MS and Ed Walton, Jr., Boise, ID; one daughter-in-law, Marie T. Cooper, San Antonio, TX; one grandson, John D. Cooper, Jr., one granddaughter, Marquita S. Cooper, West, MS, one step-granddaughter, Tomika Hardy, West, MS; one sister, Carolyn Cooper, New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Charles Cooper and Gary Cooper, New Orleans, LA, and numerous other relatives and friends.
