She was born June 4, 1925 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Roy and Ada (Jenkins) Hayth. On April 4, 1958 she married John H. Cahill who preceded her in death on July 17, 1981.
Surviving are her daughters, Joyce (James) Wilbanks, Chillicothe, Tamea (Marvin) Bennett, Frankfort; her son, Timothy W. Cahill, Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Scott (Tammy) Wilbanks, Craig Michael (Marie) Wilbanks, Kimberly Wilbanks, Chad (Heather) Keesee and Cassie Keesee; her step-grandchildren, Eddie (Debbie) Bennett, Marla Ginther and Jimmy Wilbanks, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Kobey, Jessica, James, Shanny, Colton and a soon to be born great-grandson, Kaiser; her great-great-grandson, Jet; her sister, Jewell Dickerson, Waverly; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cahill was a homemaker and had been employed at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was a 2 1/2 year resident of Heartland of Chillicothe where she had many friends. She enjoyed crafts, bingo and church services.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Guy McCorkle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday.
