Son of Horace Sargent Bacon and Malvina Meng Bacon. Husband of Hazel Christine Reid (1913-1975). Brother of Stephen Sargent Bacon, of North Middletown, Kentucky. Horace, Jr., died in an automobile accident at Redhouse Overpass, in Madison County, Kentucky. His grandfather, Charles Henry Meng, of Bourbon County, served in Morgan's Raiders during the Civil War. His 4th great-grandfather, Ebenezer Sargent, of Massachusetts, served in the American Revolution. National Society of SAR, Massachusetts. -- Wilma Doyle Keely (1940-2019)
