Nellie Gibbs Gregory

Nellie Gibbs Gregory, 73, of Route 3, Pulaski (Mount Olivet Road), died Thursday at the Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley.

Born in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Chloe Gibbs. She was a member of First Christian Church, Pulaski, and was a retired employee of Hercules, Inc. She was a member of the Republican Women's Club.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel Forest Gregory of Route 3, Pulaski; three daughters, Mrs. James (Maxine) Harlan of Camden, N.J, Mrs. Sam (Alva) Skeens of Pulaski, and Mrs. Charles (Roberta) Jordan of Dothan, AL; one son, Samuel Forest Gregory, Jr. of Dublin, one brother, Gordon Roseberry of Greensboro, N.C., nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held at 3:30pm Saturday at the First Christian Church, Pulaski, with the Rev. Maynard Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County. Bowers Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is in charge of arrangements.
