John and Ola settled in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas, where John worked as a carpenter. They had two daughters: Helene Bailey, b. ca 1911, and Esther Lorene Bailey (1914-1929), both born in Texas.
Ola remained in Parker County after her husband John died in 1947. She died in July 1970, and is buried with her husband and daughter Lorene in the Oakland Cemetery.
