Theresa Ann Nieman-Skepenski, 42, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013, at her home. Theresa was born in Monroe, Michigan on June 20, 1971, to Leonard and Carleen (Franklin) Nieman. Theresa worked for many years as a home healthcare aide. She enjoyed listening to music of all types and worked as a DJ for many years. She will be remembered for being the life of the party. Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family by the water. Theresa will be remembered for her outgoing personality and her heart of gold.

Theresa is survived by her husband, David; mother, Carleen Franklin; children, Heaven, Angelica, and Zachary; grandchildren, Amayah and Saharah Ruiz; sister, Tammie King (Ed Baker), and special aunt, Darlene Mullins. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Donald Nieman, and grandparents, Arthur and Ruth Nieman and Carl and LaJean Franklin. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, (east of I-280) on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 1:00 p.m.
