KEIZER - Leta Bell (West) Syers age 90, passed away on July 15, 2009 in her home surrounded by loving family.

She was born May 11, 1919
Location: Burkebenette, Texas
Parents: Clarence Prentice and Jettie Bell (Smith) West.

Marriage: Max Verne Syers
Date: 1940, Native of Iowa in Shafter California
Moved to San Francisco, California to raise their family.

Leta was the Loving mother and Christian example to her daughters: Laverne McGrath, Sandra Bruster and Karen Syers.

Retired from See's Candies, California.
She moved with family to the Pacific N.W. and settled in Keizer, Oregon where she lived out her days enjoying gardening and watching her family grow. She was a Godly woman who loved people and was the strong Christian leader of her entire family. Her love for the Lord is reflected in her life and her family. She has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral services were held:
Tuesday, July 21, 2009 11:00 a.m.
Chapel of Macy & Son, McMinnville
Interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Aunt Leta Bell; a godly beautiful woman. She taught me about Jesus and I'm so thankful she did. I love and miss her greatly. I will see her in heaven on day!I love you Aunt Leta Bell and thank you for all you have done for me.
