Elbert S. Allison, 82, of Fayetteville, died Sunday in a Little Rock hospital. Born Sept. 13, 1890 in Wesley, the son of Ulysses Sherman and Martha Caldonia Tempelton Allison, he was a retired farmer, a veteran of World War I and a Methodist.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Reba Hunt Allison of the home: one son, Elbert Jr. of Carl Junction, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Imogene McDonald of Hawthorne, Calif.; Miss Janelle Allison of Tahlequah, Okla., Miss Virginia Allison of Muskogee, Okla. and Mrs. Thelma Bailey of Elkins; four brothers, Bill of Siloam Springs, Virgil of Muskogee, Lester of Fayetteville and Ernest of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Thomas of Waggoner, Okla. and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at p.m. Tuesday at the Watson Mortuary with burial in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
