Sherry Lynn Crawford, 48, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Marlow.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 1, 2012, at Glory Bound Church in Marlow, with Rev. David Woods officiating.

Sherry was born Friday, October 11, 1963 in Duncan, to Harry and Ruth (Kirkpatrick) Kirkland. Sherry attended school in Duncan and graduated from high school in Wichita Falls, Texas. She had lived in Marlow for the past 22 years. On May 21, 1986 Sherry married Scott Crawford in Ft. Worth, Texas. They lived in Ft. Worth for four years before moving to Marlow. Sherry was a loving caregiver to her daughter, Amy and was very creative with her ceramics. Sherry loved life and was always happy. She loved everyone, including all of the cows and horses. Sherry loved spending time outdoors, being in sun, enjoying the pool, planting flowers and riding horses. For the past seven years, Sherry fought a courageous battle with cancer, but she never let it get her down. Sherry was a member of Glory Bound Church in Marlow.

Survivors include,
husband, Scott Crawford of the home;
son, Billy Crawford of Marlow;
daughter, Amy Crawford of Marlow;
two grandchildren, McKinney Crawford and Joshua Crawford of Lawton;
mother, Ruth Borcherding of Duncan;
four brothers, Danny Kirkland and Johnny Kirkland both of Wichita Falls, Rocky Wood of Duncan, Ricky Wood of Clinton;
two sisters, Kelly Rountree of Chickasha and Jami Harrison of Duncan;
two sisters-in-law, Ginger Byerly and husband Terry of Duncan and Pat Crawford of Seminole, Texas;
numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Sherry was preceded in death by father, step-mother, Jo Kirkland, father-in-law, Arnold Crawford and mother-in-law, Marion Crawford.

Pallbearers will be Justin Maddox, Casey Bishop, Jake Hazen, Jeremy Klima, Josh Day, and Bill Crow. Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Patterson, Joe Stringfellow, Robert Cundiff and Wesley Schrock.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
