Herschel Lee Addison, 76 of Dillsboro IN, passed away Sunday April 10, 2011 at his residence.
He was born November 9, 1934 in Heidelberg, Ky the son of Archie & Laura (Moore) Addison. He married Nancy (Elliott) Addison October 3, 1952 and she survives.
Mr. Addison worked in the maintenance department for 30 years at Heekin Can Company.
Mr. Addison is survived by his wife of 58 years Nancy, Sons: Ronnie Addison of Dillsboro, IN; Rick (Renata) Addison of Dillsboro, IN David (Karen) Addison of Metamora, IN. Daughters: Judith (James) Mosier of Bloomington, IN; Eva (Rick) Dean of Dillsboro, IN; Peggy (Danny) Lacey of Butlerville, IN; Connie (Dennis) Winters of Osgood, IN; Laura Koger of Anderson, IN. Sisters: Edith (Richard) Lane of Florida; Gladys (Melvin) Burton of Milan, IN. 22 Grandchildren and 32 Great-Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, one great-granddaughter; his brothers: Archie Addison Jr., Robert Addison, Albert Addison; and sisters: Clare Mae Wells, and Alma Cornett.
Funeral services will be at 11AM Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, 707 S. Main St. Milan, In. 47031 with Rev. Michael Addison officiating. Burial will follow at New Craven Cemetery, Milan IN. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday April 12, 2011 also at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hanson Cancer Fund in Batesville IN., through the funeral home.
