She is the daughter of William Preston Stidham (1823-1876), who died in KY, and Nancy Jane Stidham, whose dates appear in the link. Born in KY, she seems to have had a marriage previous to her marriage to John Riley Day, but the man's name is unknown. In 1910 she and John lived in Lee City, Wolfe Co. KY, where they both had numerous kin. In 1910 they are living in Burton, McIntosh Co., OK. In 1920 they are in Lincoln Co. OK, and by 1930 have moved to Fresno CA, where they spend the rest of their days.
