He was a retired baker and owner of Adams’ Bakery. He was a veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites, Nashville, and also a member of Lodge #281 in Fenton, MO.
Survived by wife Martha June Adams, Nashville; son David W. (Helen) Adams, Brentwood; grandchildren, Wendy E. (Danny) Lee, Waverly, Brent Adams, Franklin, and Holly Lewis, Nashville, brother, Howard (Mildred) Adams, Pacific, MO: five great-grandchildren.
A memorial Service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Bellevue United Methodist Church with Rev. Peter van Eys and Rev. Cherrie Parker officiating. Visitation immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of the Bellevue United Methodist Church. West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike at Davidson Dr.
