Lillie Oyler Fridley, age 85, of the Liberty House Nursing Home, Clifton Forge and formerly of Low Moor died Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was born in Low Moor, Virginia on February 7, 1917 a daughter of the late William Henry and Beatrice Dawe Oyler. Mrs. Fridley was a Homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Covington. She is survived by one daughter, Evelyne Mae Parkins of Shawsville, VA; one son, Nathaniel Wayne Fridley of Low Moor, VA; one sister, Virginia M. Oyler of Low Moor, VA; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Oliver Fridley in 1955; one sister, Hettie Rovena Kitt and three brothers, William Berkley Oyler, Archie M. Oyler and Kenneth E. Oyler. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2002 from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Nicely Funeral Home.
