I just came across the "death" record for Martha. She died of complications in her 8th month of pregnancy in Rockwood, Roane Co., TN.
Her husband, Joseph, brought her remains home on the Cincinnati Southern Railway on Nov 29, 1881.

I think it's Martha E. Daily (not Martha L.). I know it's hard to read.
