Donald Dean Adelman 57, Lincoln, passed away Saturday Jan. 12, 2008.
Born May 4, 1950 in Norfolk.
Graduated from Madison High School in 1968. Don attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and graduated with a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering; then worked for the State of Nebraska's Natural Resources Commission for over 30 years. He actively published papers regarding the preservation of natural resources and traveled extensively both nationally and internationally promoting his work.
Survivors include: parents, Don and Patricia (Niemeyer) Adelman, Madison, Neb.; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Sylvia, Wilmington, Del.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diana and Gregg Nielsen, Elkhorn; Denise and Dale Becker, Madison; Donna and Lynn Funk, Madison; eight nieces; nephews; and many friends.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 16, 2008 at Indian Hills Community Church.
***Burial: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Crown Hill Cemetery, Madison, Neb.
Visitation: one hour prior to service Wednesday at the church. Wadlow-Rozanek Funeral Home, Lincoln, is in charge of arrangements.
