Celinda Lydia Bailey was born in Potten, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Abijah Bailey and his first wife, Lydia Hildreth. The family lived around the Greensboro and Craftsbury villages of VT. Celinda went to work in the mills at Lowell, MA, where she met and married her first husband, Charles Emerson Colburn II, 11 Jul 1853, in Lowell. He was born 13 May 1826 in Wilton, Franklin Co, ME, and died 14 Nov 1859 in Hopkinton, Delaware Co, IA. They came west to IA where Charles worked for a "Wells Fargo" type company as a dreyman. After his death Celinda married 2nd, William Irland, on 15 Jul 1861 in Jamestown, Grant Co, WI. He was born about 1818 in NY and died 4 Sep 1866, in Hopkinton, IA. With her six children, three from Mr. Colburn, and three from Mr. Irland, she came to Buena Vista Co, IA by wagon. She married 3rd) as his fourth wife, Rev. John J Andridge, 13 Apr 1884 in Lincoln Twp, Buena Vista Co, IA. He was born about 1806 in CAN and died 8 Sep 1889, in Lincoln Twp, Buena Vista Co, IA. She died in Lincoln Twp, Buena Vista Co, IA.
