"Ida Maria [Marie] Weldon was born to Elias C. and Anna B.(Hamilton) Weldon at Rubicon, Dodge County, Wisconsin on June 9, 1868. At the age of two the family moved to Pierce County (WI) where she spent the rest of her life.
Mrs. Davis taught school following her education at the South Hill school and the Rock Elm institute.
She married Daniel Webster Davis on Nov 23, 1889. To them three children were born: Vernon, Gail and Stella. She was left a widow while the children were very young. At that time she moved from the home in the town of Cady, St. Croix County, to Spring Valley {Pierce Co., WI}.
Mrs. Davis died at the Baldwin {St. Croix Co.,WI} hospital on June 16, 1955 at the age of 87 years and seven days. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 19 from the Congregational church, Rev. Arthur L. Upton officiating with burial in the family lot in the Brookville cemetery.
She leaves one brother, Warren Weldon of Hersey, three children ...{see obit/kd } ...
