Other survivors include three sons, Gilbert J. Bisges, Jefferson City; Dennis F. Bisges, Kansas City; and Eugene H. Bisges, Osage Bend; three daughters, Ruth C. Rosebrough, Berniece M. Bisges, and Phyllis A. Heckemeyer, all of Jefferson City; 22 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; one brother, George Bisges, Taos; and two sisters, Rosie Lueckenotte, Jefferson City; and Alice Bungart, Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by an infant great-granddaughter.
He farmed all his life in the Osage Bend area. He was a member of St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church, Osage Bend; Holy Name Society; and served on many building and picnic committees.
