Ridley Harrison Allen

Funeral services for Ridley Harrison Allen, 78, of Gainesville, Mo., were held last Friday, Oct. 20, at Lily Ridge Baptist Church with internment following in the Lily Ridge Cemetery, Gainesville, Mo.

Mr. Allen died Tuesday evening, Oct. 17, 1989, at the Gainesville Health Care Center.

He was born in Gainesville, July 27, 1911, the son of Jesse and Euretta (Kirkpatrick) Allen.
He was married to Eva Linger November 29, 1933 in Gainesville, Ozark county.

He was a Christian and a member of the Brushy Knob General Baptist Church.

Mr. Allen is survived by his children Leroy Allen of Gainesville, Judy Cowin, also of Gainesville, Reba Williams of Noblesville, Ind., Maggie Williams of Houston, Texas and Gay Frazier of Albion, Ill.; his brothers Orvin Lyle Allen and Herbert Allen and his sister Mrs. Chelsta Coble; ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, four brothers and one grandchild.

Funeral arrangement were by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Gainesville, Mo.
