George Andrew was a blacksmith by trade, as was his father, and lived in Taney County for the majority of his life. For a short time he farmed and then opened a grocery store in Protem. He was the 2nd son of David Silas and Hester (Young) Coiner. He was married four times and had nine children.

Malinda Jane Forest was his first wife. They married 1 July 1880 in Ozark County, Missouri. They had two children. Emma Lena and James. They supposedly divorced, but proof of this has been found. Malinda moved to Arkansas, but their daughter Emma chose to live with George.

George next married Hulda Herd. No proof of this marriage, but they supposedly had a child.

George's third wife was Emma Petty. They married 22 Mar 1891 in Taney Co. She and George had three children. Nina b Jan 1892 in Indian Territory; Andrew Jackson and Jeffrey Coiner born 1900 in MO. Emma and George also divorced and she moved to Arkansas and remarried.

Ella Cynthia Crownover was George's forth and final wife. They had three children Linda V., Anna Myrtle and Warren George. They lived in Protem, Taney County, Missouri where they operated a store. They were married for over 40 years when George died.
