ROBERT LEE Juanita Keith Barger, 97, of Robert Lee passed away
Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Shannon Medical Center.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at the Robert Lee
Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Terry Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home.
Juanita was born May 2, 1903, in Coke County, Texas. Most local
residents knew her as a second grade teacher. She taught in several
Texas schools for a total of 47 years. Returning to Robert Lee in
1976, she spent the last six years as a resident of Robert Lee Care
Center.
Survivors include her sister, Velma B. Lovell of Irving; two nieces,
Claudia Mosley of Denton and Sue Lewis of San Angelo; and two nephews,
Ray Barger and Jan Lovell, both of Irving.
