Etta Isabella Konkler was the daughter of George Washington Konkler and Sarah Alice Medlock. Etta married Charles Douglas Still (1854-1901) on July 15, 1891 in Edgar, Illinois. They had two daughters, Sara Ethel and Elizabeth "Lulu".

On June 23, 1900 Etta married Volney Owen Warren (1854-1902), who took care of her and her two daughters until his death.

Etta's next marriage on June 25, 1902 to William Wesley Leggett produced six children: Chloe, Sadie, Robert, Otto, Clyde and William.

Etta raised her children alone after William died in 1913.

Her last marriage was to Charles Brown in April of 1930 in Missouri.

Etta led a full life and was much loved by her children many grandchildren.

She was laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Affton, St. Louis County, Missouri.
