Doris was born Dec. 10, 1916. She was a 1935 graduate of North Side High School. She was a devout Christian, and she accepted Christ and was baptized on Sunday night, April 30, 1933, at North Fort Worth Baptist Church, where she had been a member for the past 79 years.
Doris married G.G. "Mickey" Adams in June 1936. He passed away 14 May 1999. Doris was a proud housewife, artist and mother. She was most proud of her time as leader of the Junior Sunday School Department (10 year olds) at North Fort Worth Baptist Church. She worked for telephone orders department of Montgomery Ward for 10 years, retiring in 1979. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening and cooking. She was a frequent blood donor, having a widely needed blood type.
Survived by sons Robert (Bob) Gordon Adams and Gerald (Jerry) Ray Adams and their respective families.
Her age 95 years, 3 months, 2 days at death.
